History
From 2006 to 2024, the CCRB and local non-profit partners united each April to collect donations of baby formula, diapers, wipes, and other baby care essentials for families in St. Charles County. Thousands of volunteers and community partners came together annually to “shower” babies with love by hosting collection drives throughout April, culminating in a County-wide grocery store collection day.
All donations remained within the County, with 100% of contributions distributed directly to families experiencing poverty, homelessness, or crisis. This initiative significantly reduced the risk of child abuse and neglect for thousands of children.
Thanks to the generous support of our community, the Shower of Love collected over $1,045,000!
